Guided Walks
The GRBG has a history stretching back two hundred years; the original
water furrows and storage dams that first fed the town of George still exist in the gardens. Short
Guided walks are offered on a booking basis only. Experienced guides will walk you through the
history and ecology of the gardens, focusing on the myriad of plants and birds found in the area.
Walks are approximately 30 minutes long and are charged at R 20.00\person minimum group size of
5.
