Poem for the Garden

Poem for the Garden...

This beautiful poem is in a book written by Dr Ian McCullum called “Ecological Intelligence” – Discovering Ourselves in Nature

Botanical Garden needs your support

GEORGE NEWS - The car boot sale held over the weekend at the Garden Route Botanical Garden (GRBG) was a hit, attracting 35 stalls and raising R5 265.

A paved pathway was erected at the Garden Route Botanical Garden (GRBG) after the proceeds of a golf tournament were donated.

The George parkrun will launch on Saturday, 5 April 2014

Parkrun is international, it started off in the UK and the world joined in.  ‘parkrun’ is always spelled with a small letter ‘p’. There is currently 25+ parkrun events in SA.

The story will be centred on a pair of Egyptian Geese who have tried unsuccessfully for many years to rear a brood of goslings only to lose them to predators when they are only a few days old. This year the resourceful parents made a nest in a nearby garden and hatched eight youngsters.
