The Welcome Garden at the entrance |
First impressions should make an impact and set the tone for what lies ahead. The Outeniqua mountains form a magnificent backdrop to the Botanical Garden and their soft colours, mauve, pink, white and blue are reflected in the shrubs and flowers in the Welcome garden. |
We want to create an ambience of peace and tranquillity so that you can relax and enjoy the garden and the wonderful views. We try to grow a variety of fynbos so that the flowering periods are staggered to ensure that there will always be some colour in the garden.
Unfortunately fynbos has a 5-6 year life span so that there will be bare patches when plants are replaced. We hope that you will enjoy the garden and take away many happy memories. |
